Bollywood actor Irfan Khan has died


Renowned Bollywood actor Irfan Khan has died at the age of 54. The actor was admitted to the intensive care unit of a hospital in Mumbai yesterday.

According to Indian media reports, actor Irfan Khan's spokesperson also confirmed his death.

 Irfan Khan was admitted to a local hospital in Mumbai yesterday where he was shifted to ICU as he was not feeling well.

He was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in 2018 by the actor. After which he went abroad for treatment for a few months.

Irfan Khan showed off his artistic talents by starring in many popular Bollywood blockbusters, including Slim Dog Millionaire, Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider-Man.

The actor's most popular films include Oscar nominees Salam Bombay, Maqbool, Pan Singh Tomar, The Lunch Box, Haider, Ghande, Peco, Talwar.

Irfan Khan last showed the essence of his brilliant acting in the sequel 'English Medium' of his film 'Hindi Medium'.

It may be recalled that the actor's mother had passed away three days ago but Irfan Khan could not attend his funeral and had last seen his mother on a video call.

Filmmakers and actors in the Bollywood industry are also expressing deep grief over Irfan Khan's death. Director Shojat Sarkar said in a message on Twitter that he will always be proud of the actor, he fought the disease. And they kept fighting.

The director has also expressed condolences to the family of the late actor.
